Duty, Honor, Vengeance.
This is what the Keepers of Stromgarde stand for. The people of Arathi and the once great city of Strom have sacrificed much for the Alliance, and received little to nothing in return. There is no excuse for the complete ignorance that the Alliance in general has shown towards the plight of the people of Arathi, and as such Lord Trollbane has commissioned a new standing army to be formed under the banner of Stromgarde.
This is a new form of military unit and is made up of both the pureblood Arathor and the would-be hero's willing to lend their swords to our cause. I believe it goes without saying what the purpose of this new regiment is: the purging of Arathi of all hostile forces, beginning with Stromgarde Keep itself and the eradication of the horde from Azeroth. Our dungeons are held by the forces of the Syndicate, and as such we have good reason to take no prisoners whilst in defense of our keep. If that isn't an obvious enough way to say it, forces not of the Alliance are to be terminated on sight if within the keep, no exceptions, be they Orc, Ogre, Scourge, or Syndicate.
It has also been decreed that this same regiment shall Shepard the whole of Arathi, it is not our duty to single handedly siege horde fortresses, yet however if the Refuge Pointe is in danger we are honor bound to lay our lives down in its defense if need be.
Be it also noted that Lord Trollbane has not forgotten that the people of Arathi are still part of the Alliance despite their complete ignorance of troubles, and as such the Keepers may be called upon to do battle in other places, bearing the banner of Stromgarde at the forefront of the battlefield with valor and honor worthy of our name.
From the lowliest of recruits to the highest of generals, The Keepers of Stromgarde all represent the finest that the Alliance has to offer; as such your actions should reflect that. This does not mean that you must love or even like every member of the Alliance, but you must act in a fitting manner at all times, people who treat you with unkindness are below our standard and need not be socialized with, and if met with insult do not stoop to return it, either walk away or challenge your would be aggressor to a duel. Your honor is our honor, if you look bad, The Keepers look bad. The spoiling of our good name shall be considered a breaking of oath which is unacceptable.
As a Keeper, one also has duties to his/her fellow Keepers, those who act with honor towards their comrades shall in time be recognized for it be it through promotion or increased access to auxiliary supplies. The stronger each Keeper becomes the greater fame and honor of The Keepers.
Be it noted that oath breaking shall by no means be tolerated, if it is felt that one is not carrying out his sworn duties, he shall be stripped of all rank and privilege granted to him by The Keepers. We are not here to baby sit children, nor do we intend to let the leeches stay attached to our limbs for long, for they make us weak, and weakness will only result in death. Have honor, and be true to your oath and bring glory to The Keepers and Lord Trollbane. |
