I read that person in the DK forums putting you down, and I wish the stupid boards weren't inactive. I'd give him...a nice conversation, but just in case you get on first, let me tell you some of what I could have said. Heh.

His average PR is worse than mine, and he has access to the best PvE gear in the entire game. He's got Shadowmourne, and his top PR is 2k. Wow. That's actually terrible. I can't believe no one is putting him in his place.

Seriously, his 2s PR isn't high enough to get a T1 wep, and I'm at 2k with my priest in furious. He's an obvious baddie. With Shadowmourne, anything below glad is unimpressive.

Also, he said he played Shadowcleave but that UH presence was the only presence to use. Plenty of Glads have supported Blood Presence specifically and exclusively for Shadowcleave. Ugh.

Anyway, he's awful. Bottom line. I'll hit him crazy hard if I get a chance. Oh, and his 2s w/l ratio is 53%. Ask him if he's started using his mouse to turn yet. Not like he'd have to in order to get a better PR...

Sorry if this doesn't belong on the forums. I should probably stop going to the WoW forums. You have those trashtalking PvE heroes giving people a hard time, and it's disgusting. Just wait till S9 when there isn't a legendary to carry people in arena. The punks will be revealed.

Aww thanks :3. I found it more amusing than anything else that he's trying to put me down over arena ratings when I don't do arenas competitively. Adara and I have done relatively well considering we're two blood DKs but I think we've hit our wall. And I guarantee you I'm right about the fact that if I did have a decent arena rating, his comment would be "you're in a baddie battlegroup". Also, did you know you could have multiple DKs by transferring them from another server!?!?!

Oh, for sure. There's always some reason why they're better than you. I do pretty well, but I don't go around trashtalking people for no reason. Now if someone starts something with me, it's on, but I don't think it's necessary to give people a hard time just to make myself feel better.

Anyway, yeah, duel Blood DKs isn't easy, so just do what you can and have fun. I'm sure when rated BGs come around, there'll be a lot more options as far as viable specs go. Instead of the same few classes/specs in the top comps, you're going to have a lot of interesting teams out there. I bet the first season will be a mess, but who knows?

It's not that I can't stand raiding. Raiding can be fun! What I can't stand is the amount of time required to prepare oneself for raiding. Too much effort, not enough return imo.

Just do what I do and know cool people, then you can pop in for 2-3 wings and not do any prep

Velli is a BAMF anyways, one of the few blood DK's on this realm that is a challenge for me.

Play it kinda lame if needed and hug boxes for ages against powerful double casters. I have little doubt that some of your games end in great frustration for the other team. =P

For reference my prep is "oh, you guys want to raid tonight? Let me hit the Auction House for potions (or Jellis if she's on)." And I'm done. Surely you can manage that much prep

Have you tried training the priests? Chaining MF/Strang/DG? How about the rogues so that they are under the gun the whole match? Yeah, not sure how that would work...

We've tried focusing the rogue and it just doesn't really work out. The main thing we need to do against priest teams is just pick one to focus, most likely the priest because if we don't we can't quiet put out the pressure to keep the priest from DPS'ing. The main thing is, if we don't focus on one, PoM bounces around a lot. The main thing we need to do is get Adara TALKING on vent. *glare* Lichborne and Hungering cold would be nice too :p

Aren't you duel specced? If so, make a Velli spec and an RP spec. Unless you're doing top-end PvE or are your guild's MT, you'll be fine; the ICC buff boosts dps dramatically. =P I got the polearm for Laef due to RP reasons, but when I went to dual wield as Fury, I found out that Blizz doesn't allow you to dual wield polearms. I knew that in the past but never really cared. Thanks, RP!

I want the polearm simply because they're so rare. The unfortunate part is that I don't get the extra expertise with it, but it's only an extra .75% chance to not be dodged or parried so I'm not particularly concerned about it.
